Artists and Songwriters

Artists/Songwriters (“A/S”) can only nominate one song to take part in the Djooky Music Awards. However, A/S can replace a nominated song to a different song on their catalogue at any moment until the deadline date for applications.

All nominated songs will take part in the weekly National, Continental, Global, and Genre charts to be published every Monday*.

*The last week before the National Voting Round will be shortened by one day to allow for the vote to take place on Sunday, 22 Nov 2020.

Music Lovers

All registered users can listen to all music on the platform; create Favourites lists; support their favorite songs and influence the Charts by allocating Voting Points (VPs); and take part in the A&R** Contest by allocating Forecast Points (FPs).

**A&R (Artists and repertoire) is the division of a record label or music publishing company that is responsible for talent scouting and overseeing the artistic development of recording artists and songwriters. The Djooky A&R contest is an opportunity for music lovers to demonstrate their ability to identify the next big music hit early on.

To add a song to Favourites, a User should click on the star icon next to the song. Each song added to Favourites automatically gains 1 VP.

Over the course of each week of the season, users are invited to support the songs on their Favourites list by allocating VPs. By allocating VPs, users influence the songs’ position in the weekly Charts.

Similarly, over the course of each week, users are invited to demonstrate their ability to identify future hits by allocating FPs. By allowing FPs, users influence their own position in the A&R Charts.

Every Monday, a new 100 VPs and 100 FPs will be credited to all users’ accounts, with the previous week's history of points allocation annulled.

Weekly Charts

Based on the number of VPs songs received every week, Djooky will create live National, Continental, Global and Genre charts.

When two or more songs have the same number of VPs, the latest nominated song gains priority in the Charts.

For a Chart to become available to view, at least 10 (ten) songs must be competing in the respective category.

National Voting Round - Sunday, 22 November 2020.

All registered users will be credited with 100 Voting Points (VPs) and 100 FPs to their accounts. Users will be able to use these points for voting and forecasting only for the Entries (nominated songs) competing in their Country. During this time, all other songs on the users’ Favorites lists will be available solely for streaming purposes.

Based on the total number of VPs awarded to a song, the top three Entries from each participating Country will qualify for the Continental Voting Round.

Based on the personal users’ ranking, Djooky will form and publish National A&R Charts.

The Continental Voting Round - Wednesday, 25 November 2020.
